It’s time to hit the software update button on your iPhone and Mac if you haven’t already. Last Friday, Apple released iOS 7.0.6 and 6.1.6 to fix issues with the way their software interpreted SSL certificates. Today, Apple released security updates for Mavericks, Mountain Lion, and Lion. The SSL goto fail bug was a serious problem for anyone using publicly accessible networks. It’s a complicated topic and there has been a lot of misinformation spreading about it… but the important thing is to update your Apple devices.
We urge you to take five minutes of your time and update your devices.
It’s very important.
