The time has come for Fix Denver (Rocky Mountain Mac Repair) to close its doors. We've been gradually moving out of the Apple repair market for a while. We no longer have enough confidence in Apple's products to continue repairing or recommending them to our clients. We've moved onto other endeavors and will no longer operate the Fix Denver brand. We'd like to thank our customers for their support. We greatly appreciate your business over the last eight years. Unfortunately, we will not be able [...]

1-year warranty for all hardware repairs!

By | April 17th, 2013|Categories: Deals, Featured|Tags: , , , |0 Comments

We buy the best parts so we should have the best warranty, right? We think so! Starting April 17, 2013, we are bumping our 90-day warranty to a 1-year warranty. 365 days with peace of mind – don’t worry about the glass on your iPhone or iPad, don’t worry about the new hard drive in your Mac (you should still back it up), don’t worry about any repair for a year. Why did we bump up to a 1-year warranty? Well, we have been around since 2009 and have seen so few issues since that we think you deserv [...]

iPad mini after 4 months of use

By | March 4th, 2013|Categories: Featured|Tags: , |0 Comments

After four months of use, we discuss the iPad mini's target market and overall impressions of the device. We found it to be a very capable iPad and would recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller tablet. Don't waste money on something running Android... grab an iPad mini for the same Apple experience in a smaller package. [...]

A Picture to Keep an iPad Company

By | February 19th, 2013|Categories: Featured, Testimonials|Tags: |0 Comments

We recently received an iPad that had an accompanying picture to keep it safe. Our customer, Lisa, let us know that her daughter included a picture she recently drew to make sure that the iPad arrived safely. It is actually a picture of the broken iPad with a juice box and a smoothie to keep it company while it visited the doctor's office... we thought that was awesome. The picture is reason enough to share it, but then we heard how the iPad broke: She felt so bad when it broke. I swear it was t [...]

iPad meets car, we bring it back to life

By | January 31st, 2013|Categories: Featured, Testimonials|Tags: |0 Comments

We recently discovered that the original iPad could take quite a beating. A customer sent us a completely shattered first generation iPad… we saw a lot of damaged and were surprised that we only needed to replace the glass. It turned out to be a remarkable story, so we decided to share it with you. Here is what the customer had to say: It is actually kind of a funny story. My 5 year old son was playing with it on our way to a Walmart for extension cords, and either when he got into or out of the [...]

AT&T Turns on LTE service in Denver

By | November 8th, 2012|Categories: Featured, Tech Talk|0 Comments

We've heard whispers of AT&T bringing LTE service to Denver by the year's end, but we were beginning to get skeptical.  The rumor weeds started growing again this past week -- some people saying that it would happen as early as this weekend.  It happened even sooner than that! If you have an iPhone 5 or an LTE-enabled iPad, turn off your Wi-Fi for a second and look at your connection.  For the first time in Denver, it should say LTE.  One of our technicians sent me the picture attached to th [...]

Apple will stream today’s keynote live!

By | October 23rd, 2012|Categories: Apple News, Featured|Tags: , , |0 Comments

Liveblogs everywhere just lost a huge source of traffic today.  Since Apple will be streaming the keynote live, anyone who can watch video this morning will do just that.  This link should be opened in Safari (Apple's web browser) for the best viewing experience.  You can also watch the event live from your Apple TV.  Just browse the icons for the picture we've attached to this post. If you're at work and cannot do you job with a video in the background (or if that's frowned upon) you still have [...]
